MORE than £5,000 has been raised by a Redditch-based firm for child bereavement charity, Noah’s Ark Trust.
The cash was raised by logistics and retail supply chain specialist Oakland International thanks to the It’s A Knockout challenge.
The firm organised a day out of games and activities for local business which each entered teams.
Hayley Smith, from Oakland, said: “It was a fabulous day and a big thank you deserves to go out to everyone who came to support the event, and most importantly to all our courageous and enthusiastic teams for taking part.
“Everyone had a brilliant time and we’re now looking forward to doing it all again in 2012.”
Together with sponsors NST and Proteus, the firm raised an incredible £5,133 which will go toward providing a grief support service for children, young people and their families.
