REDDITCH residents will have the change to talk to West Mercia's Chief Constable, David Shaw, at a "Policing Matters" public meeting.
The meeting for people living and working in the Redditch area takes place on Wednesday, September 28 at 7pm in the Civic Suite, Redditch Town Hall.
Chair of the North Worcestershire Policing Board, Col Tony Ward OBE, said: "I encourage people to come along and find out more about policing in West Mercia and Redditch in particular. This is their opportunity to have their say and quiz both senior police officers and local Police Authority members.
“We want to find out more about what people think of their police service and the issues that concern them."
The North Worcestershire Policing Board is made up of West Mercia Police Authority Members Col Tony Ward OBE, Councillor Sheila Blagg, Councillor Brandon Clayton, and the Policing Commander for North Worcestershire, Superintendent Adrian Pass. They meet regularly to monitor delivery of the West Mercia Policing Plan in North Worcestershire.
