MORE than £280 has been raised by The Vaynor First School for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This is the fifth consecutive year that the school has run a Macmillan Coffee morning and saw homemade cakes for sale and a raffle to win a giant teddy bear.
A school spokesman said: “Our school community has been touched in many ways by cancer and we wanted to take this opportunity to support all the families who have, and will need the help and support of this charity in the future.
“We would like to thank all of the parents who have helped and supported us. This is the best attended coffee morning so far.”
