POLICE are appealing for the public's help to trace a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with burglaries in Redditch.

Officers have been trying to locate David Proctor, aged 18, who is wanted for questioning in connection with burglaries including one in the Church Hill of Redditch earlier this month. Proctor is known in Redditch by the nickname ‘Ears' due to his distinctive protruding ears.

He is around 5ft 2ins in height, with short, dark hair and brown eyes.

His last known address was in the Lodge Park area of Redditch although he also has connections with the Church Hill part of the town.

Detective Constable Bob Cockburn of Redditch CID's burglary team said: "We are most anxious to trace Proctor but we have not found him at any of the addresses we have for him.

"Despite extensive inquiries, we still have no idea where he is.

"We would urge anyone who has seen him, knows where he is now or has any information that could help us locate him to contact West Mercia Police immediately on 0300 333 3000 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
