A WOODROW parent has given the courtyard of his local Children’s Centre a marvellous makeover.
Local dad Kevin Price, whose daughter goes to Woodlands Children’s Centre at Woodrow First School, has been busy turning the courtyard into a play area for the children.
He has turned rarely-used planters into a play area featuring purpose-built sand and water trays and created a crawl-through hideout and a play house.
Charity Where Next donated plants to the Longdon Close centre, which were planted earlier in the week.
Jenny Dennis, from Woodlands Children's Centre, said: “Kevin has done a fantastic job and we are really grateful for the time and effort he has voluntarily put in.
“The children are going to love their new play area.”
