THE Kingfisher Shopping Centre has announced that the Primrose Hospice is now its designated charity.
Primrose Hospice Centre of Care is an independent charity offering advice and support to patients living with life limiting illness, and there families.
They support patients in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Studley, Wythall and the surrounding areas.
Lyn Winters, fundraising manager at the Hospice said: “Kingfisher have supported Primrose for many years through our annual Tree of Light campaign.
“We are now delighted that the relationship will continue and that we will have the opportunity to work closer together in the future.”
Alongside the Tree of Light support the centre gives the charity, the partnership will mean that there is promotional material available in the centre about the hospice and the work it does.
The centre will also help to promote various fundraising events throughout the year, with a target of £5,000 each year.
Centre manager Perminder Dhillon said “The work the Primrose Hospice do for our community is extremely important, and we are pleased to be able to support and help raise awareness for the organisation.”
