TWO men have been arrested in Bidford on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs after a morning raid on two houses.
The two men, aged 30 and 31, were arrested on the morning of Tuesday, September 27, after police executed a drugs warrant at an address in Smiths Lane, Bidford.
A large quantity of drugs were recovered from the address, as well as cash and other drugs paraphernalia.
Both men were taken into custody at Leamington, by the Alcester south Safer Neighbourhood Team, where they were questioned and released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
A second warrant executed at an address in Grafton Lane led to the discovery of cannabis plants and herbal cannabis, and a 27-year-old man was given an £80 fixed penalty notice after he admitted to being in possession of the drug.
Anyone with information regarding these arrests, or any other suspicious activity in the area, is asked to contact the Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01789 444816, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
