A TEAM of car and adventure enthusiasts from Studley has just completed a gruelling 1,800 mile race across France, Switzerland and Italy.
Air Farce Four, comprising residents Pete Bennett, Mark Elsmore and Pablo Raybould, triumphed for the second year in succession on this year’s Scally Rally.
The rally can be entered by anyone in a low cost car which is then, along with the team, subjected to the some of the highest and most dangerous passes over The Alps, including the infamous Stelvio Pass at 9,000 feet.
Mr Raybould said: “This year the team used a Peugeot 405 diesel which was prepared by MGR Services of Longbridge with assistance from Studley Auto Centre.
“The car ran faultlessly, leading after day one and staying there until the end in Rimini.”
He added that the team are keen on attempting a hat-trick of wins next year.
