POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a man who has not been seen or heard from for nearly a month after leaving an address in Redditch where he was staying.
Craig Cripps, aged 32, had been staying with friends in Poplar Road, Batchley, for a couple of months when he went missing on September 2.
The following day he sent a message to a friend saying that he was travelling to London but that was the last known contact anyone has had from him.
He was reported missing to the police on September 9.
Craig is white, 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build with blue eyes and short shaved brown hair.
He normally wears jeans and a black cargo jacket.
He has family in Redditch and also has connections with London and the Penzance area of Cornwall.
PC Chloe Palmer of West Mercia Police said: "He did not take all his possessions with him and bearing in mind no-one has heard from him since September 3 we are concerned for his well-being. We believe he may have been in London and Truro earlier in the month and could possibly have returned to the Birmingham area.
"We have been unable to locate him despite extensive inquiries and would appeal to anyone who has seen him or knows where he is now to get in touch. We would also ask Craig to contact family, friends or ourselves to let us know that he is safe."
West Mercia Police can be contacted on 0300 333 3000.
