A REDDITCH health and beauty spa is supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by hosting a Pink Party this Friday, October 7.
The Pink Friday concept, now in its second year, encourages individuals and organisations to hold a fundraising event during October, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
Your Exclusive Spa, at The Southcrest Manor Hotel, Redditch, is inviting people to pop in for a special pink pampering party, from 5.30-8pm on Friday.
Complimentary refreshments will be served and there will be beauty treatment demonstrations and the opportunity for a free consultation with the spa’s new hair stylist Emma. There will also be exclusive treatment and product offers on the night.
The spa hopes to raise money at the event via a silent auction where people can bid for numerous items or services, donated by local businesses.
Spa owner Ann Chandler said: “When I worked for the Health Education Authority I met many people of all ages who had breast cancer.
“My aunt and a personal friend have also suffered with breast cancer, so it is an illness very close to my heart and I am pleased to be able to do something to help raise money for research and treatment.”
