STAFF and students at Vaynor First School have been finding out more about their European neighbours.
As part of a European Day of Languages, pupils got to take part in quizzes, enjoy some unusual treats with a special lunchtime menu and try their hand at singing.
Meanwhile, members of the teaching staff also threw themselves into the spirit of the day.
Teacher Jess Owens, from the school, said that it was a great day.
“The school enjoys many international links and each year that the school participates in this festival, the children’s knowledge and understanding of different cultures is broadened,” she said.
