WORCESTERSHIRE County Council's Redditch Youth House will be throwing the doors open this half term for a free challenging event for young people.
All budding gladiators, and those who think they have what it takes to ride rodeo style, are being encouraged to come out in force for this one off event.
The 'Active Zone' hopes to offer young people the opportunity to try out some of the more unusual activities around, including riding the rodeo bull, gladiator duals, and mega slide. Prizes will be awarded to winners of each of the challenges.
Darren Farmer, senior youth worker, said: "We are excited to be able to offer such a wide range of unusual activities for young people to try out, we hope they will find them challenging, and fun."
The 'Active Zone' event will be held on Monday, October 24 from 6.30pm at Redditch Youth House, Ipsley Street, Redditch.
Redditch Youth House also offers weekly music sessions on Thursdays from 6.30pm and sports sessions from 5.30pm on Fridays For more information, contact Mr Farmer on 01527 63821 or e-mail dfarmer@worcestershire.gov.uk.
