I WAS just wondering whose bright idea it was to divert the traffic down Love Lyne due to the road to Callow Hill being closed? They could have diverted the traffic down a two lane road past the golf club and down Blackstitch Lane all these roads wide and safe. No the bright spark decided to divert all the traffic down a single track lane with numerous blind bends!

The lane is hard enough to negotiate with the normal residential traffic but to divert commuter traffic just seems insane! Accidents waiting to happen.

There are also two livery yards along that lane!

Maybe the person who planned the diversion did not even bother to drive the route? This is the only explanation as someone with more than one brain cell would not have arranged such a dangerous diversion.
