ON behalf of Studley Art Circle, I would like to thank the Advertiser for promoting our art exhibition which took place on October 14th.

It was a really splendid day. We had lots of visitors and the room was a hive of activity.

Lots of chatting as people discussed and admired their favourite paintings. The public really supported the talent of local artist, and 26 sales were made.

For many a brief respite with refreshments before they went back for a second viewing, seemed to be the order of the day.

We are delighted to share with everyone that £400 was raised to donate to the Alzheimer’s Society.

A very big ‘thank you’ goes to all those involved in the day, to the artists and to the visitors for making the 2017 art exhibition such a success.
