STRIKER Jordan Archer has become the latest forward to join Redditch United.
The young striker had been pursued by a host of clubs but Reds boss Liam McDonald's lengthy chase for the goal-getter paid off.
McDonald had wanted to sign Archer midway through last year but he opted to stay with Tividale.
Archer was a key player as the Black Country outfit had a fine first season in the Division One South and finish eighth place.
He had been wanted clubs including Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town, so McDonald was delighted to get his man.
He said: "I am so excited to sign Jordan because he will be a top, top player.
"He's 63ft, is strong and fast and knows where goal is.
"With Jamie Molyneux, Luke Shearer and Daniel Dubidat as well as Jordan, we are well-stocked with exciting forwards."
