Studley's first match of the season was an FA Cup Match at Heanor Town on Saturday which looked a very tricky tie against a team who had scored 11 goals in their first 2 League games.
Heanor started the quicker and in the first 10 minutes had hit the post and forced Bunn in the Studley goal into a fine save.
However the Bees worked their way into the game and took the lead on 14mins When new signing Joe Blowers struck from 20yds.
Some 2mins later another new signing Ben Ashby opened his account when he found himself in the clear and beat the keeper from just inside the box.
The Bees were now in control of thee game and Heanor were finding it difficult to get in the game. The game was effectively over in the 39min when captain Dan Carter struck home a vicious shot again from 18yds.
Any hope Heanor may have had ended when first their captain was red carded for a dangerous tackle and from the resulting free kick Jake Donnelly scored to make it 4-0 at half time.
On 53mins after great interplay another debutant Max Black slotted home to make it 5-0.
With the game over substitutions were made which in fairness the game became a bit scrappy and Heanor got a late consolation goal right at the end.
This was a very professional display by Studley and it could have been a bigger score line if all chances had been taken.
