Worcestershire head coach Alan Richardson is considering giving a promising up-and-coming 18-year-old fast bowler a shot in the upcoming Metro Bank One Day Cup clash against Derbyshire.
Richardson has said pace bowler Jack Home is back in contention for the game, on Friday (August 2) at the Incora County Ground.
Home was previously rested during a 93-run win over Durham at Visit Worcestershire New Road on Sunday (July 28).

The fast bowler, who only made his debut two weeks ago in the Vitality Blast match against Derbyshire Falcons, went on to claim three wickets in the One Day Cup victory over Middlesex.
Richardson said: "We've managed to gather ourselves into a bit of a squad where we can rotate the guys around.
"For someone like Jack, the intensity of the cricket he is now playing is something he wouldn’t have experienced before."
The coach teased the possible rotation of other inexperienced bowlers such as Hishaam Khan, Tommy Sturgess, and Harry Darley, saying: "The opportunity is to try and rotate them around a little bit so we are as strong at the end of the competition as we are at the start.”
Richardson also expressed his pleasure at acquiring spinner Fateh Singh on loan from Nottinghamshire, who achieved a personal List A best of 60 against Durham, claiming a crucial wicket.
Richardson said: "Notts have been very accommodating and he has come to us to play games of cricket."
Taking on Derbyshire is no mean feat, with momentum behind them having won their first three games of the One Day Cup.
Richardson said: “If you look at the signings they’ve made over the last 12 months, there are a lot of guys who are very highly skilled in white ball cricket, Pat Brown, Aneurin Donald, Ross Whiteley, David Lloyd etc.
“They have continued that with Martin Andersson just signed for next season. They are really focusing hard on the white ball competitions and they look really strong.
“They beat us in the one T20 game we played against them, a good, close game, so hopefully we will have another good game on Friday.”
