REDDITCH United bounced back from a weekend defeat by seeing off fellow high-fliers AFC Telford United 3-1 in Southern League Premier Division Central on Monday night.
Tim Flowers' side fell 2-1 to lowly Leiston last Saturday at the Valley Stadium with Reuben Wyatt levelling in between Jamar Loza's double.
But the Reds hit back by seeing off visitors Telford thanks to Johnny Johnston, Marvellous Onabirekhanlen and Jaiden White in front of 631 fans.
The victory left Redditch third in the table behind Kettering Town and Stourbridge ahead of Tuesday night's league fixtures.
They have a weekend off before going to St Ives Town on Saturday, November 2 (3pm).
Redditch made a perfect start against Telford when White cut inside to see his effort parried only for Johnston to mop up the rebound for the opener inside a minute.
Billy Shaw headed off target before Kartell Dawkins' effort was blocked by the defence.
The Reds pressed high to force an error just before half-time but Onabirekhanlen fired wide.
A solid showing left the hosts ahead at the break but Telford started the second period well with Remi Walker forcing a comfortable save for keeper Callum Smith on 63 minutes.
At the other end Shaw shot into the side-netting and then rifled over not long after.
Flowers' men maintained their lead with a goal-line clearance and they also survived another scramble.
But it was two on 84 minutes when Johnston kept the ball in down the right and played in Onabirekhanlen who smashed home.
The points were safe on 88 minutes as White placed a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
On Saturday against Leiston, Redditch failed to finish off their chances, writes Jack Underwood.
Skipper Jordan Cranston's header crashed off the bar as the hosts dominated.
But Leiston went ahead in the 35th minute after Loza capitalised on an uncleared corner.
Five minutes later Wyatt produced a curling strike from distance to equalise.
A halt at the start of the second half had to be called after a medical emergency in the crowd but play was resumed 10 minutes later.
Loza put his side ahead again on 70 minutes by tapping in a cutback across goal.
Shaw flashed an effort wide and then forced a save from keeper William Johnson as did White.
In the dying moments George Atwal was denied by Johnson's fingertips.
